JF06 - Joaquin Terruella Matilla ( 1891 - 1957)
Artwork title: Picador Nephew and disciple of the painter Segundo Matilla, Santiago Rusiñol studied and traveled with him to Italy. He also painted in Paris and Palma de Mallorca. First exhibited in 1916, Goya living in Barcelona and showed his impressionist landscapes in galleries in Madrid, Palma, Zaragoza, Biarritz, Bordeaux and Paris. He was an illustrator for publications bullfighting in Figure day and night. Some of his works are preserved in the Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona and Madrid.
